How do you play Animal Match 3?
On an 8×8 board, swap an animal with a neighbor to line up three or more of the same kind across or down. They pop for points, new animals fall in from the top, and any new lines pop in a chain.
A swap that makes no line slides back. If no swap is possible, the board reshuffles itself.
How do I make special blocks?
| Match | Creates | When it pops |
|---|---|---|
| Four in a row | Line bomb | Clears the whole row (if matched across) or column (if matched down) |
| L, T or cross shape | Area bomb | Clears the 3×3 around it |
| Five in a row | Rainbow | Clears every animal of the kind you swap it with |
Swapping two specials sets both off, and two rainbows clear the whole board.
How do score and combos work?
Each popped animal is worth 10, and back to back matches build a combo worth up to 4×. Match again within 2 seconds to keep it going. In the one minute rush, combos of 3 or more also give back a little time.
- 1 minute rush: score as much as you can in 60 seconds.
- 30 moves: no timer, just 30 swaps. Good for planning big chains.
Tips
- Match low on the board. Everything above falls and sets up chains.
- Wait for four or five. One more animal makes a special block.
- Keep moving. Find the next match before the combo runs out.
- Swap rainbows with the most common animal. More animals vanish at once.
