How do you play Water Sort?
Pour the mixed colored water from tube to tube until every tube is filled with a single color. It is also known as the water sort puzzle, color sort or liquid sort.
Each tube holds four layers of water and you start with two empty tubes. Tap a tube to lift it, then tap where it should go and it tips over and pours. When a tube is full of one color, it gets a cap.

How many levels are there, and can all of them be solved?
There are 300 levels and every one of them can be solved. A built in solver works through each puzzle before it is shown, and only solvable ones make it into the game.
Level 1 has 3 colors, then 4, 5 and more until level 76 and beyond use 12 colors in 14 tubes. The level number decides the puzzle, so a level always has the same layout. Cleared levels and your fewest moves per level are saved in this browser.
Tips
Keep empty tubes free. They are your parking spots, and filling both can leave you stuck.
Finish nearly done colors first. Capping a tube that already has three layers makes the board simpler.
Watch the top layers. Joining matching colors that are already on top is the safest move.
Use undo and hints. A hint flashes the next move that still leads to a solution.
If two colors look alike, press the ◆ button under the game to show a small symbol for each color, so color blind players can solve every level too.

Is Water Sort free?

Is this the same as other water sort or color sort puzzles?
It uses the same rules: pour water between tubes until each one holds a single color. The art, sounds and levels are made by ormgames.
Are there any impossible levels?
No. All 300 levels were checked with a solver, so every puzzle can be finished. If you get stuck after a wrong pour, use undo or restart.
Why did only part of the water pour?
Only as much as fits moves over. If three matching layers are on top but the other tube has one free space, just one layer pours.
How many extra tubes can I add?
One empty tube per level. Restarting the level gives it back. Undo has no limit.
What if I have trouble telling the colors apart?
Press the ◆ button to show a different symbol, such as a circle, triangle or star, on each color.
Is my progress saved?
Your cleared levels and fewest moves for each level are saved in this browser. You can replay any cleared level from the level menu.
What are the daily puzzle and challenge links?
The daily puzzle is the same board with 7 colors and 9 tubes for everyone each day, and every one is checked by a solver so it can always be finished. After you solve a board, press Share result to send a challenge link. A friend who opens it plays the same level or board and tries to use fewer moves. There is no server, so your records stay in this browser.
