A Major Arcana card about sudden change, revelation, release. Like lightning striking a tower, this card brings sudden change.
Upright meaning
Like lightning striking a tower, this card brings sudden change. It may be startling, but what falls was never solid to begin with. The shaken ground becomes a chance to build a sturdier foundation.
Reversed meaning
You may be putting off a change you dread, or the big shock has passed and cleanup remains. Fixing small cracks now prevents a bigger commotion.
In love and relationships
A hidden issue may surface and shake the relationship. Facing it honestly can make things more genuine than before.
In work and money
Plans may change abruptly or something unexpected may come up. Stay calm and redraw the plan; the new version can be better.
