How do you play the Apple Game?
The board holds 170 apples numbered 1 to 9. Drag a box so the apples inside add up to exactly 10 and they are cleared. Your score is the number of apples you clear in 2 minutes.
Two apples (3 and 7) or more (2, 3 and 5) both work, as long as the total is 10. While you drag, the current total is shown and the box turns green at 10. On phones the board stands upright so the apples are bigger.
What is Today's board?
A mode where everyone gets the same board for the day, so you can compare scores with friends. A new board appears the next day.
- Free play: a fresh board each game. Your best score is saved.
- Today's board: one board per date, with its own best score.
- Practice: no timer. Press Finish or clear every 10 to end, and see how many 10s were left.
What is a good score?
Around 30 is common at first, and over 100 is very good. You get a rank at the end of each game.
| Apples cleared | Rank |
|---|---|
| 0 to 29 | Apple sprout |
| 30 to 59 | Apple picker |
| 60 to 89 | Orchard hand |
| 90 to 119 | Harvest pro |
| 120 or more | Orchard master |
Tips
- Find 9+1 and 8+2 first. Big numbers have only one partner, so leftover 9s and 8s get stuck.
- Grab many at once. Small numbers like 1, 2, 3 and 4 in one box clear four apples in one move.
- Box across gaps. Empty cells count as zero, so you can join apples that are far apart.
- Work from the edges. Emptying the middle first scatters what is left.
