Run, jump and dodge

Action games are about hands moving before thinking. Run, jump, dodge, and one slip ends the run, so even short rounds get your palms sweaty.

Dino Run, the climb of Jump Up, Road Crossing, Flappy Chick through the pipes, Cave Flight, toy car Racing, and Stone Axe Boy, a side scrolling adventure with bosses. Most need just one button or two arrow keys.

All free, with no download or sign up.

Be a DogHold left or right to trot around and chew things up, then let go and sit still whenever the owner's yellow line of sight reaches you. There are 100 levels across a three floor house, and noisy things like the plant pot bring the owner running. Dino RunPress Space or tap to jump the cacti, and hold ↓ to duck under birds flying at middle height. Hold the jump longer to clear tall cacti, and the run speeds up as your score climbs. Stone Axe BoyRun right, leap pits and enemies, and lob the stone axe you crack out of eggs in an arc to knock enemies out. Your energy drains a notch every 2 seconds, so keep eating fruit, and each of the four areas ends with a boss. Flutter BirdPress to flap and rise, let go to fall, and tap in short bursts to thread the gaps between pillars. Each difficulty sets its own gap size and speed, and medals start at 10 points. Sky HopperYou bounce automatically off every platform, so just steer left and right to land on the next one, even wrapping round the screen edge. Avoid the brown platforms that crack, and grab springs and balloons to skip several floors. Road HopperTap or use the arrow keys to hop the chick one square at a time through gaps in traffic, and ride logs and lily pads across rivers. A flashing warning light means a train is coming, and dawdling too long lets the cloud behind you catch up. Cave FlyerHold to climb and let go to drop, pressing in short bursts to steer the plane past the ceiling, floor and pillars of a candy cave. The cave narrows and speeds up to nearly twice its starting pace, and there is a daily cave shared by everyone. Toy Car RacingSteer, accelerate and brake around a top down track, starting last and overtaking three computer cars over three laps. Yellow arrows give a quick boost, and a hard turn at speed throws you into a drift through tight corners. Bubble DinoRun and jump around the platforms, blow bubbles to trap monsters and bump the bubbles to pop them. Hold jump to bounce off bubbles like steps, across 12 stages. Whack a MoleBonk the moles popping out of nine holes before they duck back down, and leave the black bombs alone. Helmet moles take two hits, and golden moles add 3 seconds, stretching a round up to 60 seconds. Stack TowerTap at the right moment to drop each sliding block onto the one below, keeping as much width as you can since any overhang is cut off. Land it exactly for a Perfect, and three in a row start widening the block again.
